Styling process:
After washing your hair we apply a special hair conditioner. Then cover your hair with a plastic cap and sit you under the bonnet dryer for five to ten minutes. Later we will rinse the conditioner out and set your hair in rollers. Then proceed to sit you under the dryer again for about twenty to forty five minutes. This depends mostly on your hair type and length. Thereafter Elegante will proceed to style your hair. Customers have the option of having their hair straightened, or leaving the curls in. If you decide to have it straightened, Elegante's stylists will start to straighten the curls or waves left by rollers with a blow dryer. If the client's hair is Natural (non-processed hair) we would just blow dry your hair straight. This process is called a WASH & BLOW and costs more due to the amount of work.

If you take a good look at both our styling techniques and products, you'll find that they're beneficial because we condition the hair and limit the use of chemical processes. Secondly we use a bonnet dryer to dry the hair and it's a lot less harmful than the direct use of blowers and irons. The purpose of setting the hair in rollers, is so that the hair absorbs the moisture and vitamins that our leave-in conditioners contain. Once your done with the bonnet dryer we proceed with blow drying it. Since the hair is already dry we spend less time applying heat to it. Meanwhile the natural hair products we use contain the vitamins and proteins from fruits, and vegetables, nourishes your hair.
